Seep Detection

Zebra-Tech Ltd are leaders in the development and manufacture of underwater groundwater seep detection and sampling equipment. The Trident Probe provides a rapid method for undertaking underwater groundwater seep detection field surveys while the Ultraseep Meter is used for in-situ ground water seep measurement and sampling.

Zebra-Tech works closely with Coastal Monitoring Associates, who are leading specialists in underwater groundwater seep detection and sampling field surveys and analysis.

The Trident probe is an underwater groundwater seep survey system that can be deployed from small boats. The probe is used to rapidly identify areas of underwater groundwater seepage and upwelling.

Features

Multiple probe configuration to include seep detection probes, reference probes, and pore-water sample probes in a single unit

Depth penetration control

Teflon plating for contamination free pore-water sample flow path

Very rugged – suitable for deploying from small boats

Optional bottom landing frame with pneumatic assist probe driver

Rugged waterproof deck unit

GIS software for in-field data display

Position data incorporated with all data points

The Ultraseep is an underwater in-situ groundwater seep measurement instrument. The Ultraseep can accurately measure extremely low seepage rates, and takes multiple flow proportional water samples on a user set time schedule over many days.

Features

Fully self contained system for autonomous deployments of many days

10 seep-proportional, time composite water samples

Accurate flow-dependent sample pump precisely matches sample pumping rate to seep rate

Fully user-configurable software to enable conditional water sampling control

Chemically inert water sample flow patch

Self contained rugged frame for simple deployment.
